Directive 2014/65/EU of 15 May 2014, transposed in 2018, is the cornerstone of the legal framework for financial intermediation and has led to an unparalleled evolution in the legal duties to which financial intermediaries are bound in their relationship with their clients, giving the latter greater legal protection.
