The Guide to Alentejo Certified Restaurants is a pioneer project launched by the Regional Tourism Office to promote the 84 restaurants that have achieved the Seal of Certification. This distinction resulted from an evaluation of Alentejo cuisine inspired by centuries-old recipes and the use of endogenous products, excellence of the service and the carefully presented premises, menus and wine lists.
This Guide shows us traditional, typical, informal and contemporary restaurants that have one common aim: that of preserving the art and flavours of Alentejo.
