Salústio, o Espanta-Pardais

Salústio tem a obrigação de não deixar que os pardais pousem na horta para não comerem as plantinhas que estão a nascer. Agita os braços, a roupa badala com o vento, os pardalitos assustam-se e voam para longe. Salústio fica triste: gostava que eles voassem à volta dele, pousassem nele, chilreassem, cantassem. A sua tristeza é grande. Mas há um menino que vem à horta todos os dias. É um menino especial, que vai descobrir a tristeza do espantalho e encontrar uma solução.

Sallust the Scarecrow

Salust was built in order to frighten the crows and the sparrows that enjoy snacking on the seedlings of a beautiful farm. His clothes sway with the wind, and the birds fly away. But, no one knows that Salust would love to be friends with the birds, he feels lonely and wishes his appearance would not scare them. With the help of a special little boy who believes in the wonders of the world, Sallust’s sadness comes to an end. Will the little birds become Sallust’s friend?
